Hello, I am Sophia

I’m a wedding photographer based in Austria and specialised in capturing weddings in both winter and summer mountain landscapes. For me, a mountain wedding brings together the building blocks of life: love for one another, a connection with nature, and sharing special moments together!

What makes your approach to wedding photography unique?

My approach to wedding photography is unique because I combine local mountain expertise with professional wedding photography. I have been living and working in the Alps since 2014, which allows me to photograph weddings with a deep understanding of the landscape, weather, and seasonal conditions. In addition to being a wedding photographer, I am a certified mountain hiking guide and a former level-3 ski instructor. All this experience flows into my work and helps me to capture stunning wedding photos in every season.

How would you describe your wedding photography style?

My wedding photography style is natural, authentic, story-driven and candid, with a strong focus on the mountain feeling. I focus on honest moments, soft light, and a calm presence, allowing your day to unfold naturally. The result is a timeless visual story that reflects how your wedding truly felt.
